In an era marked by increasing global turmoil, the strategic roles of multinational corporations (MNCs) in fostering economic recovery and sustainable development have never been more critical. Particularly in regions beset by crises, MNCs find themselves at the forefront of efforts to create resilient and inclusive growth.

The ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine presents a complex crisis with profound implications for Ukraine, the broader European continent, and the global community. This crisis has necessitated a reevaluation of international business strategies, highlighting the need for alignment with principles of international development, creating shared value (CSV), corporate social responsibility (CSR), and sustainable development. This panel aims to explore these challenges, examining the intersection of international business theory and practice in the context of Ukraine’s ongoing struggle against Russian aggression.
